Wakefield Artwalk – Wednesday 30th March
We have some exciting news for the up and coming Wakefield Artwalk on Wednesday 30th March. In our project space, Paul Stone from studio B7 will be showcasing his “All That Surrounds Us” work and in addition, we will have a new book launch on the 1st floor! We fully expect Westgate Art Studios to be bustling that night!
Paul’s paintings are of everyday objects and food items that may be overlooked on a daily basis. Its an opportunity to take a little bit of time to see the paintings and contemplate these items a-fresh.
Items include a brand new works, called “United Nation” and a range of new ‘unfinished’ studies in simple frames, that will appeal to the buyer that may find paying gallery prices for the larger works a little inaccessible.
There will also be an opportunity to purchase ‘black frame’ paintings at a clearance price. These are paintings in a framing style that Paul has now changed, and will no longer be sent to galleries. The prices on this works reflect around a 70% reduction on gallery price (for the limited period of the artwork evening).
Currently, Paul is the only artist representing Wakefield in the “New Light” exhibition, showcasing the best of Northern Art, and has just been selected for the upcoming ‘Waterside Open’.
Congratulations Paul, and here is hoping to a fantastic Artwalk next Wednesday!
